The CrossBlade LPL-5+ glasses are ESS's response to the new and increasingly frequent threat to eyesight - laser pointers and designators.
The frame and visor draw heavily from the well-proven design and technology used in ESS glasses, making it a robust, reliable, and comfortable eyewear for the harshest field conditions.

The CrossBlades feature a Tri-Tech Fit frame that offers a surprisingly snug fit, providing improved protection without limiting airflow. At the same time, there are no pressure points that could impede or lower the user's comfort.

The lenses, thanks to their innovative and future-proof design, are compatible with Crossbow, Crosshair, and Suppressor frames. They are dual-coated using the "ClearZone Dual Flow Coated" technology to minimize the fogging effect on the inside, while also protecting the outside surface from possible scratches and physical damage that are frequently encountered in the field.
To ensure a clear vision, the distortion-free "ESSOPTICS" tech is applied to the lens construction.

The defining feature of CrossBlade LPL-5+ glasses is an additional protective layer that minimizes harmful exposure to typical visible green laser pointers and designators with a wavelength of 532nm, as well as visible blue-violet lasers at 405-445nm wavelengths. This makes them an excellent choice for military and especially law enforcement agency members who are frequently exposed to such threats.

The kit includes a black CrossBlade frame, a standard smoke gray lens, a standard clear lens, a standard LPL-5+ lens, a standard black nosepiece, a zippered hard case, and a microfiber pouch.
